We are excited to announce that We are excited to announce that Dr. Victor Holmes joined the Berkeley office of Aquifer Solutions, Inc. during 2006. Victor followed his B.S. in Life Sciences from M.I.T. with both an M.S. in Molecular and Cell Biology and a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the University of California at Berkeley. Victor spent the three years priot to joining AqSol as a postdoctoral researcher in the University’s Environmental Engineering department improving methods for in situ biological remediation. This work included developing molecular methods for quantifying the presence of key microbial species that can be used to both predict and monitor metabolic remediation activity. Victor has published multiple papers on biological trichloroethylene degradation and given presentations at several international conferences.
